Our visiting Geriatricians work closely with your GP to provide comprehensive assessment and management of complex health issues affecting older people. Geriatric medicine focuses on maintaining independence, improving quality of life, and supporting healthy ageing through coordinated, person-centred care.
Our specialists assess a wide range of age-related conditions, including memory concerns, falls, frailty, mobility issues, multiple medical conditions, medication management, and functional decline. They work collaboratively with your GP, family, carers, and other healthcare providers to develop an individualised care plan.
Specialist consultations are not routinely bulk billed under Medicare, and out-of-pocket costs may apply depending on your consultation and any procedures performed.
Our reception team will provide information about consultation fees and any applicable charges when your appointment is booked.
A GP referral is required to book an appointment with one of our visiting Geriatricians. If you have concerns about memory, mobility, falls, frailty, or other age-related health issues, please speak with your GP to discuss whether a specialist referral is appropriate.
