Consultant Psychiatry
Our visiting Consultant Psychiatrist works closely with GPs, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of mental health conditions.
Psychiatric care is tailored to each individual’s needs and may include diagnostic assessment, medication review and management, treatment planning, and recommendations for ongoing care. By working collaboratively with your GP and other healthcare providers, our psychiatrist helps ensure coordinated, evidence-based mental health care.

Specialist psychiatric consultations are not routinely bulk billed under Medicare. Medicare rebates may be available for eligible patients; however, out-of-pocket costs may apply depending on the consultation.
Our reception team will advise you of the consultation fees and any applicable charges at the time of booking. If you have any questions regarding Medicare rebates, our staff will be happy to assist.
A GP referral is required to book an appointment with our visiting Consultant Psychiatrist. Your GP will discuss your concerns, determine whether a specialist assessment is appropriate, and provide the necessary referral.
