Remote Communities Mental Health Support

Inglis Medical Centre – Remote Communities Mental Health Support, a short-term, free mental health service for individuals aged 8+ experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals with expertise in mental health and well-being.
We proudly support Dargo, Bruthen, Orbost, Swifts Creek, Buchan, Ensay, Benambra, Omeo, Cann River, Mallacoota, and surrounding remote communities.
This service is funded by Gippsland PHN (PMHC).

How to Access Our Services

Support

We provide ongoing support with no set session limits, tailored to your individual needs.
Support is offered via telehealth, for a duration of up to 6 months.
Face to face support is available upon request, where possible.
Telehealth sessions can be accessed from your own home, local neighbourhood houses, community centres, or health services, depending on your preference and convenience.
Session frequency is flexible—some people prefer fortnightly sessions, while others choose monthly support.

Service Options

Virtual and in-person: All appointments are conducted virtually and can accommodate in person sessions when circumstances allow to ensure access for remote communities.
Flexible Arrangements: Sessions can be adapted to your circumstances, including phone or video sessions from your preferred location.
Our Team Includes: Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, Accredited Mental Health Nurses and Care Coordinators.
Please Note: We do not provide ASD/ADHD assessments, but we can offer guidance on appropriate pathways.
